How to Setup your Kami Wire-Free Outdoor Camera with the Kami Home App

Your brand new Kami Wire-Free Outdoor Camera has just arrived, and you’re excited to get it open and set it up. Well, good news! The installation process is fast, easy, and straight-forward.

Check out the steps below to see how you can set up your new Kami camera:

1. Charge batteries

Make sure to charge your batteries before the first use! To keep you and your camera safe when shipping, it is not allowed to pre-charge the camera’s batteries.

2. Download Kami Home App

If you don’t have a Kami Home App, you can download it from the Google Play or Apple App store and create an account.

3. Add your camera

Press the ‘+’ button in the corner to add a camera. Choose the Kami Wire-Free Outdoor Camera. Wait until you hear the camera say ‘Waiting to Connect’. Confirm the status in the app.

4. Connect Wi-Fi

Connect to your Wi-Fi using your network’s password.

5. Scan

A QR code will show up – face it towards your camera to complete the pairing process!

Voila!

Done! Now you can choose whether you’d like to use cloud storage or store your recordings locally on micro SD Card and then you’re all set!
